LTD. and its affiliates (collectively, ‘Mediwave’ or “we”, “us”, “our”) through the websites www.mediwave.io and/or www.medirescue.io and/or www.medilife.io (as applicable) (“Website”) for the access and use of the Mediwave Products provided as software as a service (SaaS), (“Products”)

  • “Personal Information” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be
    identified —
    (a) from that data; or
    (b) from that data and other information to which Mediwave has or is likely to have access;
  • If the information does not disclose your identity or enable the identity to be ascertained, it
    will in most cases not be classified as “Personal Information” and will not be subject to this
    privacy policy

The kind of Personal Information that Mediwave collect from you will depend on how you use the Website. The Personal Information which we collect and hold about you may include

  • Usage Data
    • Usage Data is collected automatically when access and use the Products.
    • Usage Data may include information such as Your device’s internet protocol
      address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Products
      that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages,
      unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
  • When You access the Products by or through a mobile device.
    • We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to,
      the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address
      of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet
      browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. We may also
      collect information that Your browser sends whenever You use or when You
      access the Products by or through a mobile device. We may collect information
      about the browser you’re using and your IP address.

    • Your Full Name, Street Address, City, State, zip code, Phone number, email
      address
  • Medical Services
    • We collect information about the services that you have selected, searched, select
      through our website.
  • Information provided when book an appointment
  • Demographic information
    • We may collect information like your gender, age/ date of birth.
  • Professional information
    • For doctors, we may collect information about your professional credentials.
  • Prescription details
    • If you are willing to upload and keep your prescription system provide that facility
  • We may collect Personal Information from you whenever you input such information onto
    the Website or via third party management software that is integrated into the Platform or in
    connection to your practice
  • We also collect cookies from your computer which enable us to tell when you use the Website
    and to help customize your experience. As a rule, however, it is not possible to identify you
    personally from our use of cookies.
  • The purpose for which we collect Personal Information is to provide you with the best service
    experience possible on the Website.
  • By using the Website and services, you expressly consent to the use and process of your
    Personal Information in the manner provided for in this policy and you also consent to the
    receipt of direct marketing material.
  • We will only use your Personal Information for this purpose if we have collected such
    information directly from you, and if it was material of a type which you would reasonably
    expect to receive from us. We do not use sensitive Personal Information in direct marketing

      updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or
      contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for

      purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.
    • To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to us.

      transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of

      campaigns and to evaluate and improve our services, products, services, marketing and
      your experience.

  • We customarily disclose Personal Information only to third party service providers who assist
    us in operating the Website.
  • Personal Information disclosed to us by you is one of the inputs we use to provide analysis
    services back to that practice.
  • Only authorised users of the practice can access the analysis, through a password-controlled
    login.
  • We use tier-one service providers for hosting and processing of data.
  • We may, from time to time, disclose information to professional advisers for the purpose of
    obtaining advice. We may provide information to law enforcement agencies if requested, or if
    we believe unlawful activity has taken place.
  • Your Personal Information may be shared with courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities and
    law enforcement officers, as required by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal
    proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
  • We may share your Personal Information with other persons notified to you at the time we
    collect your Personal Information, who you give your consent to, or to whom we are
    authorised or required by law to make such disclosure.
  • You have the right to request, subject to certain exceptions;
    1. Access to the Personal Information we hold about you
    2. To correct inaccurate Personal Information
  • We may charge you a reasonable fee for our costs in providing you with access to your Personal
    Information, but we’ll let you know about this once we’ve processed the initial request.
  • In some circumstances, we may not permit access to your Personal Information, or may refuse
    to correct your Personal Information, including, but not limited to, where:
    1. Giving access would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of others;
    2. The information relates to existing or anticipated legal proceedings and the
      information would not be discoverable in those proceedings;
    3. Giving access would be unlawful;
    4. Denying access is otherwise required or authorised by law; or
    5. The request for access is frivolous or vexatious.

If we deny you access to or we refuse your request to correct your Personal Information, we’ll give
you our reasons for this in writing.

We will retain your Personal Information only for as long as such data is necessary for the legitimate
purposes it was collected for. The retention period for Personal Information may also be affected
by the requirements of applicable laws or a legitimate business requirement. In all cases such
Personal Information may be held for a longer period of time where there is a legal or regulatory
reason to do so (in which case it will be deleted once no longer required for the legal or regulatory
purpose). Once Personal Information surpasses its retention period and if there is no valid reason
to retain such Personal Information, the Personal Information will be securely disposed of.

  • If you have a complaint concerning the way we maintain the privacy of your Personal
    Information, please contact us as set out below. All complaints will be considered by Our
    Customer Relationship Manager, and we may seek further information from you to clarify your
    concerns. If we agree that your complaint is well founded, we will, in consultation with you,
    take appropriate steps to rectify the problem.
  • Your Personal Information will not be disclosed to recipients outside Singapore unless you
    expressly request us to do so. If you request us to transfer your Personal Information to an
    overseas recipient, the overseas recipient will not be required to comply with the Singapore
    Privacy Principles, and we will not be liable for any mishandling of your information in such
    circumstances.
  • Use of any Personal Information may be regulated by the General Data Protection Regulation
    (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) as applicable. In respect of any Personal Information, we will make
    best efforts that it treats and/or process the Personal Information received, in accordance with
    the requirements of GDPR

    to our privacy policies as required by law. An updated policy document will be posted on our
    website. Please check our site periodically for updates.
  • The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of
    transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We
    strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot
    guarantee its absolute security.
  • You agree that Mediwave is only a Platform provider and any Personal Information you upload
    and/or enter into your account by you or any person having access to your account through
    the Website are uploaded and/or entered at your own risk and responsibility and that
    Mediwave has no responsibility and/or liability in respect of the same including but not limited
    to Personal Information about minors, disabled persons and of individuals of unsound mind.
  • You agree, acknowledge and understand that if you are obtaining services through the Website
    via an Enterprise Version, all Personal Information (as applicable) will be collected, stored and
    processed by third party service provider and we will not be collecting, storing and processing
    any of your Personal Information. You will be subject to any additional policies of such thirdparty service providers as applicable and we will not be liable or responsible in any way or
    manner in respect of collection, storage and processing of such Personal Information through
    and/or by such third-party service providers

 

  • By accessing the Website and using our services you expressly consent and acknowledge that
    you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree and consent to the collection, use,
    processing, disclosure and transfer of Personal Information as set out herein. You expressly
